About Arrowhead Cheerleading

AHS Cheerleading is made up of dedicated and enthusiastic athletes. You must be willing to devote a significant amount of time to be part of a program that strives to be their best.
The coaches have extensive experience coaching cheerleading. They are dedicated to excellence, both athletic and academic. Your child’s education is of the utmost importance to the coaches, and they are dedicated to helping your child have a well-rounded, successful high school career.
AHS recognizes cheerleading as a sport. Cheerleaders receive Athletic Awards after successfully completing the entire cheerleading season.
PROGRAM PURPOSE:
To create well-rounded, physically fit athletes who will learn a variety of skills including jumps, tumbling, stunts, cheers, team cooperation, hard work, integrity, and leadership in a supportive environment, in order to properly prepare the athletes for college-level cheerleading.
The AHS Cheerleader uses these skills to promote school spirit and sportsmanship at games and in the community, and also to compete at a local, state, and national level to the best of their ability. As with all Arrowhead Sports, the program strives for excellence, having earned State Championships in 2000 and 2006.
